TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Percy Carlyle Gilchrist, Fellow of the Royal Socity, Baschurch, Salop
Date27 July 1906
DescriptionIn reply to Gilchirst's letter of 26 July, Sir H Trueman Wood gave a lecture one or two years ago at one of the Soirees dealing with Colour Photography, but it was not reported, nor was it printed. The Society is sending Gilchrist a number of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' containing a paper by Lippmann read before the society, and trust it will be serviceable. The library has little in reference to the subject, but no doubt Gilchrist would derive considerable information by consulting a small handbook called 'Photography in Natural Colours' by Mr E J Wall, and a new edition of this has just appeared which could be obtained through any bookseller.
