Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Arthur Schuster, Fellow of the Royal Society, Hotel Majestic, Harrogate |
Date | 24 September 1906 |
Description | Schuster's letter addressed to Sir Archibald Geikie marked 'urgent' arrived this morning and he and Dr [Joseph] Larmor are at Aberdeen. Harrison opened the letter and is sending it on at once with correspondence which also came this morning from the Treasury. Gathers that this is the correspondence of which Schuster has seen a copy and need not therefore summarize its content.
Schuster probably knows there will be no Council meeting in the ordinary course before the proposed meeting at Rome, so that either a decision will have to be taken for the Council or a special Council will have to be summoned. Is sure Geikie will write to Schuster about this. |
