Cholmeley's letter will be brought before the Council with a view to obtaining authority to supplement this with a presentation of past '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. Explains why he fears the making up of the set of 'Proceedings' will have to be postponed until the large despatch they have in hand is disposed of. |
