TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Roger J Cholmeley, Rhode University College, Grahamstown
Date2 October 1906
DescriptionAcknowledges Cholmeley's letter of 5 October and the Society will do its best to put together as complete a set as possible of the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' up to 1901, for presentation to the Rhodes University College. Cholmeley's letter will be brought before the Council with a view to obtaining authority to supplement this with a presentation of past '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. Explains why he fears the making up of the set of 'Proceedings' will have to be postponed until the large despatch they have in hand is disposed of.
