Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Albert Charles Seward, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 26 January 1907 |
Description | Fritsch's paper on Julianiaceae was dealt with provisionally by the late Chairman before he left office, and sent to two Fellows as provisional referees. It is now with Dr Bayley Balfour. The first referee report is in and it is not wholly favourable.
Harrison already has a statement of particulars relating to Groom's paper, which came in on Thursday from Dr Dukinfield Henry Scott. It is a big thing to examine, and will take some time to form an estimate on cost. Harrison would like to know Seward's opinion on the particulars printed on the enclosed post card [no enclosures], and the line marked 'further action' on who should be the referees, as the Secretaries make no suggestion. |
