Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to His Excellency, The French Ambassador, Albert Gate House, Hyde Park, W. |
Date | 22 November 1906 |
Description | The Davy Medal has been awarded to his fellow countryman, Professor Elias Metschnikoff, of the Pasteur Institute, for his work in zoology and pathology. The President and Officers feel that this affords special ground for the hope that the Ambassador may be able to be present, or be represented at the distribution of the medals. As Metschnikoff is unable to attend, it is hoped that the Ambassador could receive the medal on his behalf. |
