TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Arthur Schuster, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date11 March 1907
DescriptionHarrison has Schuster's letter this morning, and Sir Archibald Geikie has also showed him the letter sent to him. Apologises for omitting to send the pamphlet about mechanical symbols. It is in Spanish and is being sent now. Harrison failed to realise that the propositions he sent required a vote of the Royal Society, he presumed that the initiative in the International Association business rested with Schuster. They have now been put forward for the agenda. A brief letter of instruction to the delegates might be useful, calling attention to matters coming before the General Assembly.
