| Description | Acknowledges receipt of Becker's letter forwarding an abridged version of the tables attached to Becker's 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' eclipse paper. The Society is proceeding with the publication of the paper. The illustrations are in part already in hand and the text will be sent to the printers shortly. Can safely say that the abridged form of the tables as now supplied will certainly be printed. Would like to ask about the photographic illustration or illustrations of apparatus. The office can only trace the one sent herewith [not enclosed]. Asks if this is the only illustration and if the engravers are to work from it. |
