In reply to your card, our Council does not meet until the 24th inst. [instant] which would not give you a month for issuing your notices; but I think you may take it from me that you may anticipate the consent of the Council to your meeting being held here, as it has been now for some years, and I will put it forward as a matter for confirmation by the Council.
