Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Thomas Clifford Allbutt, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 23 October 1907 |
Description | Archibald Geikie has asked Harrison to respond on his behalf due to a lack of time. He believes it would be unfair to the Royal Society and the referees, and against statute, for them to be given the responsibility of deciding on the suitability of papers to be communicated. Statute number 6, chapter 12, assigns that role to the Fellow communicating the paper, and Geikie asks that Allbutt not submit the paper he refers to unless he is willing to formally communicate it. |
