TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr John Hughlings Jackson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date22 November 1907
DescriptionGeikie notes receipt of Jackson's obituary notice for Sir William Broadbent, which he has altered to read in the third person, to omit the quotation marks from his citations of his previous notice, and to add a footnote explaining that much of the obituary has been taken from Jackson's article in the British Medical Journal. He states that they do not expect an author to write a completely original obituary for Proceedings of the Royal Society.
