TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to D Cameron Swan
Date6 December 1907
DescriptionHarrison enquires of the cost of making a photogravure reproduction of the portrait of Sir Michael Foster, just painted for the Royal Society, in the style of the one they made of Sir William Huggins. As there is not much money available for this reproduction, it would need to be smaller than the Huggins one, but he would like Swan's opinion on it and an idea of minimum cost of making an adequate photogravure to circulate to subscribers. Harrison proposes that Swan visit soon and look at the picture.
