TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr W J S Lockyer, 56 Victoria Street, S.W.
Date16 December 1907
DescriptionLockyer's application for the loan of astronomical relics to the Franco-British Exhibition of 1908 will come before Council at their next meeting, but meanwhile he requests more precise information about who will be responsible for the care and safe keeping of any instruments loaned to the Exhibition, and what steps will be taken for their safety. The objects Lockyer refers to are of great historical interest and would be irreplacable were any accident to befall them.
