Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to William Henry Power, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 27 December 1907 |
Description | Harrison explains that he does not habitually take the initiative in matters of candidature for the Fellowship, but does in this case due to a perceived oversight. He noticed that no one had requested the resuspension of the certificate of Sir John Macfadyean, whose candidature will lapse if he is not elected next year, and as Dr Charles James Martin, who originally submitted the certificate, is in India, he asks whether Power, as one of the supporters of his candidature, wishes the certificate to be resuspended for the next election. If so, the request must reach Harrison no later than 31 December. |
