TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor F [Frederick] T [Thomas] Trouton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date7 April 1908
Description'Dear Professor Trouton,
We wish to get forward with Prof[essor] Porter's paper on Osmotic Pressure. It contains very rough indications of three small diagram figures. In view of the notice to authors which we print on the wrapper of the Proceedings [of the Royal Society] and which requests authors to furnish properly prepared figures suitable for reproduction, I fear I must appeal to you to ask Prof Porter to furnish us with proper drawings which we can send to the engraver. Possibly he intended to do so, I therefore enclose the rough sketches out from the MS [Manuscript]. The publication is rather urgent, I understand. I am therefore sending the MS to the printer and shall be obliged if you could procure the redrawn figures with the least delay possible.'
