Description'Dear Sir,
In reply to your letter of April 13th, I find that the results of M Guillaume's researches upon Nickel Iron Alloys were shown by him at a Soiree of the Royal Society on May 19th, 1897. His exhibit is described in the catalogue as follows - (1) Experiments with highly dillatable and nearly non-dilatable nickel steel. (2) Diagrams of expansion. (3) Compensated pendulum made of nickel steel.'
