| Description | With reference to Poulton postcard, the date of the last meeting of the [Royal] Society this Session is 25 June, and if his paper were communicated before that date it would have a chance of being read, provided it was accepted by the Secretaries. In the case that the paper were received after 25 June, that is during the recess, the Secretaries have power, with the approval of the Chairman of the appropriate Sectional Committee, to issue a number of the Proceedings of the Royal Society containing such communications, without their being read at a meeting of the Society. |
