|Date||1 June 1908|
|Description||'My Lord, |
I had your telegram this afternoon and am consequently sending the list of papers for Thursday to the press as usual. The Treasurer has been in and tells me he also proposes attending the funeral of Sir John Evans on Thursday. It will be necessary therefore for another of the Vice Presidents to be approached as to taking the Chair in your absence. You will no doubt communicate direct with one of the other Vice Presidents.'
