Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Tempest Anderson |
Date | 3 June 1908 |
Description | Asks him how many extra copies of his paper on St Vincent, etc, he would like. He understands he would like 300 copies, including Dr Flett's, but Geikie would like to know if this includes the copies supplied to Flett. Anderson mentions 90 people in the West Indies [Caribbean] who received his first paper, and Geikie points out that several years have elapsed, and colonial officials have frequently changed. That number is unnaturally large, and although it might have been desired to be liberal in the first instance, it may not be so now with regards to expense. Thinks his paper will give satisfaction. The illustrations are full of interests. Hope he is recovering. |
