DescriptionThe substance of Larmors note is - since Mallock did not previously say what his note now conveys Larmor did not realise it, as the diagram did not on the face of it bear for him the significance which Mallock attaches to it. The text has been altered to allow of the omission of the diagram, but Larmor leaves it to Mallock to decide whether these shall be included or omitted.
