With further reference to Mr Wordley's letter of the 10th instant, I have now submitted to the Treasurer of the Society the receivable order and account under reference, and I am authorised by him to forward you the enclosed cheque, in payment for repairs to the old boiler in this building, made at our request in order to enable the renewal of the boiler to be postponed to a season more convenient to the [Royal] Society.' |
