Description'Dear Sir Ray Lankester,
I have received your letter of the 20th instant, and, as it is not the practice of the Society to lend the original blocks of illustrations, I have instructed our printers - Messrs Harrison & Sons - to prepare electros of the five figures to Mr Geoffrey Smith's paper and to send them to Mr Adlard, for the Quart. Journal of Mircros. Science, in accordance with your request. The cost of electros will be small.'
