Description | Harrison refers to a Schedule No. F 107, under the Census of Production Act which he believes has been sent to the Royal Society mistakenly. It is addressed to the Royal Society as the proprietors of the Philosophical Transactions, but the nature of the Schedule suggests the the proprietors are the employers of the labour engaged in the printing. Harrison informs that the publications of the Royal Society are printed and issued entirely by contract with the firm, Messrs Harrison & Sons, St Martin's Lane, to whom the questions would be more appropriately addressed. |
