TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Sub-Editor, The Times
Date15 January 1891
DescriptionRix calls the sub-editor's attention to the fact that although they have advertised the Royal Society's meetings in 'The Times' for many years and do still, no announcement ever appears in the valuable column headed 'To-day'. For example today the meeting of the Chemical Society is announced but not that of the Royal Society. Rix encloses a card of the Society's meeting for this session and trusts they will be inserted under 'To-day' in the Thursday issues.
