DescriptionRix understands from West, Newman & Company that they delivered 175 rectified plates to replace the damaged plates in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' on 16 December 1889. Rix asks the Messrs to have these inserted. The volumes are standing in the Society's lodge and are rather obstructive.
