DescriptionRix is directed by Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] to acknowledge receipt of Rix's letter of 2 May offering to exhibit some preparations of 15th century pigments at the second Conversazione. The Committee has not yet met to consider the programme of the Conversazione, but if Professor Russell exhibits the Egyptian colours they will no doubt be pleased to have Laurie's pigments to show alongside. The Conversazione is fixed for 18 June.
