DescriptionThe Royal Society at its forthcoming Soiree wish to arrange for the exhibition at their forthcoming Soiree of 18 June, of Professor Elihu Thomson's Electromagnetic Experiments. Professor Fleming of University College, London has offered to demonstrate but an alternate current transformer is needed to give a current of 70 amperes and 100 watts. Rix explains how the London Electric Supply Corporation can provide this but before proceedings he wishes to inform the Board of their intention.
