TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mrs Holt, Byrne Road, Balham, S.W.
Date7 July 1890
DescriptionRix was shocked to hear of Mrs Holt's son's death this morning. Rix assures her of his sincerest sympathy and that of all her son's colleagues. If she finds any proofs of papers connected with her son's work on the Royal Society's catalogue, he would be obliged if she would forward them. If anything is found belonging to her son it will be returned to her and Rix encloses a post office order for four guineas which was the amount due to her son up to last Saturday.
