TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mrs Huggins
Date8 July 1890
DescriptionRix thanks Mrs Huggins for her letter but is not sure after all whether it will be worth the while of either of the ladies applying for the post. The Treasurer, John Evans, think they must not give so much to anyone new to the work. He wonders if the Bedford lady might come to see him without Mrs Huggins saying anything about remuneration. Unless Mrs Huggins thought that the Bedford lady would accept a salary less than that Rix named Dr Huggins, it would perhaps not be worthwhile asking her.
