TitleCopy letter from John Evans, to Messrs Robarts Lubbock & Company
Date31 July 1890
DescriptionThe request of the London and Brighton Railway Company as conveyed in the Messrs letter of 26 July, seems unusual to Evans. Evans however encloses an abstract in English of the Royal Society Charter which is in Latin and a copy of the Resolution of the Council authorizing Evans to invest the Joule Memorial Fund. The purchase of the stock and sealing of the transfer will be reported to the Council at its next meeting in October.
