TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Henry James Chaney

DescriptionLord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] has handed Rix Chaney's letter of 12 November and instructed Rix to explain that under statute every original copy of every paper read at the Society shall be considered the property of the Society. Chaney may however take a copy of his paper and every facility will be given for this except that the manuscript may not leave the house without permission of Council.
