TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Mr L Fleming, Norwood Villa, Hanwell
Date17 December 1890
DescriptionHerewith the correspondent sends nine mounted photographs to illustrate a paper by Dr [Charles Edward] Beevor and asks Fleming to arrange these into quarto plates, the right size for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. A sketch plan of the arrangement should be submitted to Beevor. The correspondent asks for an estimate for reproducing the photographs by the same process used in Messrs Beevor and Horsely's paper on the orang [orangutan]. One of the plates for the orang paper was very unsatisfactory in point of arrangement and special attention should be paid to this point with the present paper. The correspondent sends herewith two sheets of explanation regarding interpreting the marginal letters. This should be returned as they have no copy of it for the printer.
