Replying to your letter of the 28th ultimo, I now return the copy of the Executorship Accounts of the late Dr George Gore duly signed by the Treasurer of the Society, who is authorised by Statute to received for the use of the Society all sums of money payable to the Society. The receipt is signed on the understanding that the sum of money due to the Royal Society, as shown on these accounts, will be paid over immediately.
