Description'Gentlemen,
We are sending to you herewith Proceedings [of the Royal Society] proofs for pages sufficient to make two numbers of Series A, and I am to request you to use all expedition in getting these through the press as it is particularly desired to have both numbers published by August 10th. The gives you a month from to-day, which should be ample time to carry these proofs through from their present stage, and I shall be glad to have your assurance that this will be done.'
