Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir Joseph Larmor, Sec RS |
Date | 14 July 1909 |
Description | Mr Wesley has submitted a proof of his paper, Harrison shall be glad to know if Larmor thinks the heading if suitable. Harrison finds that the Royal Society's last presentation went up to the end of the last century, and Harrison has doubts of the policy of offering sets since that date for presentation, as the volumes still find some sale. Harrison asks if it would be better to wait for the completion of another ten years or to clear off the surplus copies of the old series. Harrison spoke to Professor Schuster about the observatories committee and he thinks it ought to meet sometime before the winter. |
