TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to F A Eaton, Secretary, The Royal Academy of Arts
Date2 April 1909
I am in receipt of your letter of yesterday from which I gather that you have rather misapprehended my position. You will please understand that my request to be furnished with a key of the gate in this quadrangle, in accordance with the assurance I have received from HM Office of Works, was made on behalf of the Society in my official capacity as resident Officer of the Royal Society, and not as a private individual.'
