I have to acknowledge your letter of the 26th instant addressed to the Housekeeper, in which you state that you are unable to do the work of erecting a flagstaff on our building for £4. 10. 0 - the price quote to us by Mr Kelly. In view of your letter I shall be obliged if you will take no further steps in the matter of erecting the flagstaff until you received a definite acceptance from us of your revised estimate of £6. 10. 0 for the work.'
