TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Messrs Griffiths & Co Ltd
Date27 August 1909
DescriptionHarrison finds that the two illustrations to the paper by Prof Ewing and Mr Rosenhain which Griffiths & Co wishes to reproduce in the Iron and Steel Trades Journal were printed in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society by a collotype process so it is not possible to supply Griffiths & Co. It would be necessary for Griffiths & Co to prepare special blocks of the figures in question. Harrison draws attention to the conditions which the Royal Society attached to its permission to reproduce illustrations from papers published in the Philosophical Transactions, viz. that due acknowledgment is made of the source.
