Adverting to your letter of the 1st instant I am desired by the President to say that the President and Council of the Royal Society thank the President and Council of the Royal Academy for their courtesy in granting them a key to the gate in the north-west corner of the quadrangle. They will be obliged if at your convenience you will have the goodness to send the key here.'
