Date | 5 April 1909 |
Description | 'Dear Prof. Thompson, Soiree. At a recent meeting of the Exhibits Committee it was suggest that you might be willing to show at the Soiree on May 12th, mica and selenite films in polarized light. If so, I should be glad to hear from you at your early convenience. I was also to ask whether you think that Mr Blakesley's new spectroscope would form a suitable exhibit for the Soiree. Also, we should be glad to make enquiry of your respecting Dr Drysdale potentiometer referred to in a paper read before the Physical Society. Possibly this would be sufficiently novel for the Soiree.' |
