TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor John Milne, Fellow of the Royal Society

DescriptionMilne's letter and the accompanying Wollaston gold medal has reached Geikie today. Council will have great pleasure in his valuable and interesting gift. William Hyde Wollaston was one time President of the Royal Society, and Milnes uncle Dr [Falconer?], was a distinguished Fellow. It has double interest, and will be placed in the Cabinet of Medals. Hopes Milne had a pleasant winter in the South of France.
