TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Miss [Marie] C Stopes
Date22 February 1910
DescriptionIn response to her letter complaining of the omission of date and place on the covers of her separate copies of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', Harrison is unable to agree with her as to the facts. The date is printed on the right hand side of the lower part of the wrapper. Though not very conspicuous, it is precise. 'Royal Society of London' is printed conspicuously at the top of the paper. From Harrison's point of view, this is quite sufficient to meet all the requirements as to author's copies, which are merely private offprints, and are not considered publications.
