Description'Dear Prof Joly,
With reference to your letter of April 20, the Soiree Exhibits Committee will be very pleased to afford you facilities for a demonstration, in the Meeting Room, of Pleochroic Halos, by means of lantern slides; also for showing the objects themselves upstairs as a microscopical exhibit.
Kindly fill up and return the accompanying form in the course of the next few days. If you will say the kind of microscope and powers you require, we may be able to get the loan of 3 or 4 instruments so as to save you the trouble of bringing them over.'
