With reference to your letter of May 7, enquiring as to the non-receipt of Proceedings [of the Royal Society], Series B, it seems that, in response to a postcard (issued in August 1908) to the Fellows asking what series of the publications of the Society each wished to take up, you marked your card to receive only Series A, Proceedings.
Should you desire to resume take the B series, we can send you the back parts and place you name once again on the printers list. But kindly let me know your wishes in this respect.' |
