This will be open to any British Subject, upon application, stating the particular kind of research he proposed to carry on the work. The application, which should be sent in to the Secretaries of the Royal Society not later that September 15th, should be accompanied by not more than two testimonials of reference in its support. It is understood that the student will be at liberty to follow his ordinary avocation.' |
