The Deputation consisted of: The President, Sir Archibald Geikie, KCB; Sir Andrew Noble, KCB, Vice-President; Mr A [Alfred] B [Bray] Kempe, Treasurer and Vice President; Sir Joseph Larmor, Secretary; Prof J [John] R [Rose] Bradford, Secretary; Sir William Crookes, Foreign Secretary; and Mr R [Robert William Frederick] Harrison, Asst Secretary, bearing the Mace.'
