Description'Dear Sir,
At their meeting on Thursday last the Council of the Royal Society agreed to act as Trustees of the fund raised by the late Lord Rosse for the maintenance of magnetic observations. If therefore Lord Rosse takes the necessary steps to have the Bank of Ireland Stock transferred by the late Lord Rosse's executor to the President, Council will administer the income in accordance with the trust.'
