DescriptionThe Council last week had before them the question of presenting publications of the Society to the Observatory at Askdalemui. Harrison has been authorised to make the following arrangements if Walker is prepared to accept them.
(1) That the Observatory be placed on the Royal Society's exchange list to received both [Philosophical] Transactions and Proceedings Series A.
(2) That the Royal Society present the Observatory with Transactions Series A in volumes from 1886.
(3) The The Royal Society present the Observatory with such of the paper or volumes containing the papers mentioned in Walker's rough list and published prior to 1886, as are available for Royal Society stock.
