Description'Dear Sir,
I have the pleasure to inform you that, acting under the Standing Orders of Council relating to publications, the Secretaries have marked your paper "The opposite electrification produced by animal and begetable life" as suitable for publication in the Proceedings, subject to your consenting to the omission of the following passages, namely; Page 10 "It is again well know" down to line 17 ending "by the surrounding protoplasm"; Page 11, Lines 14 to 19, begining "It is hoped" down to "without undue oxygenation".
On hearing from you that you agree to these omissions, the paper will be set up in type and a proof submitted to you as soon as it is received from the printers.'
