Kskdalemuir Observatory.
I beg to make application for the payment of £500 (Five Hundred Pounds), being the second moiety of the grant of £1000 for 1910-11 in aid of the expenses of the Magnetic Observatory at Eskdalemuir.
In view of the new arrangements as to the management of the Observatory, I should be glad if you would make payment direct to me, as Treasurer of the Royal Society.'
